Just keep swimming, just keep swimming…

15 Jan

“Of all the fishies in the sea, you’re the only one for me!”

That saying was so cute that I had to use it again! For this card, I wanted to create a little fish bowl in a card. So I stamped the turtles and fishes first, then I attached some of the clear cardstock behind my circle cut out. Using my StazOn, I stamped little water bubbles on the clear cardstock.  I like how this turned out and will probably try to make a few different versions of this card! I love love love clear card stock!

A Dolphin Snow Globe!

10 Jan

Starting the new year off with all things Lawn Fawn! I love their stamps!

So to start off the new year, I decided to splurge and finally get all the adorable lawn fawn stamps I have been drooling over for the last few months.  Yes, stamps are now like candy I’ve decided, and I plan to gobble, munch, indulge as much as I can! For this card, I used PTI’s clear cardstock which I absolutely love to make the snow globe layer.  I stamped on water bubbles using my white stamp and just hand cut the stand for the globe!

  • Recipe: White/Clear cardstock from PTI, Blue cardstock from Recollections, Stripe paper/blue water scrapbook paper from Me & My Big Ideas, Blue bling/Buttons/Cloud scissors from Michaels, Twine from Martha Stewart, Tuxedo Black Ink from Memento, Staz On Opaque Ink in Cotton White, Happy Birthday/Dolphin Stamp from Law Fawn.

It’s all about the design!
