I made my first Christmas card using my favorite new stamp set from Lawn Fawn called Into the Woods…or in this case it should be “Into Christmas!”
Originally, I wanted to make the circle part a shaker but it was too bulky for the card to open smoothly. So instead, I covered half the circle with the patterned paper and clear card stock, and stamped some snowflakes on the window to make it look like it was snowing.
I used four different pieces of patterned paper to cover the card (which was really fun!) Then for the final finishing touches, I gave the cute little deer a Santa hat and red nose!
At the last minute, I decided to decorate the back of the card to cover up the brads, and as silly as it sounds, I also covered the deer so that it would match with the love joy peace patterned paper!
