My baby shower card was such a hit that this happened…
I know – I can’t help but squeal when I hold them in my hands!
My next goal is to make the baby boy version of these cards! So so so sweet!
I was asked to make a baby shower card for a friend…
I have to say that this card is so adorable especially in this pink color combination!
I made this using my silhouette! You can find the cutie design here! My favorite part of the card is the inside with the hanger:
Hope this brings a smile to the mommy to be!
Hats on, mustaches adjusted, and bow ties ready please!
Okay, so this card really does kills me with the cuteness. I had an idea that I wanted to use those cute little hat and mustaches stamp for these adorable little chickies.
And there is never such a thing as too much bling! (As my Mom would say!) Thanks for stopping by!
I adore all things baby shower! So when I was contacted months ago to create a custom made baby shower invitation that was inspired by…
I was completely delighted! And here is the result:
I thought it was a great idea to use the pearls instead of the polka dot paper! I hope the baby shower was as wonderful as the experience of hand making all the invitations =)
I finally got around to posting pictures from my best friend’s baby shower! (Talk about better late than never! lol) I was tasked to make all the lovely goodies with help from the wonderful mother to be and friends!
I absolutely love this picture frame we made for the wishing tree!
We stayed up until the wee hours of the night wrapping gift boxes and tying bows to make cute little stands for all the yummy food. And the food was absolutely delicious!
I founds this adorable baby favor stamp set from PTI – it had all of these cute sayings like “Bun in the oven” and “About to Hatch” that were perfect to make into little tags/flags for food!
Who doesn’t love a ducky on a stick with banana budding?
These water bottles were too cute to even drink!
This was such a wonderful event filled with so much love and happiness! It’s so true when they say love is in the details… We love you baby Owen!
Love is in the details right?
I wanted to make this card simple but add a lot of details to show just how much love went into it.
First, I cut out the oven window and added clear cardstock to make it look like glass. Then, I stamped two little white hearts on the oven window. Next, I used distressed ink to get that lovely light pink color and sprayed the entire oven with shimmer frost spray. Finally, I stamped the image on another piece of white cardstock and added stickles to the top of the cupcake and glossy accents to the cupcake wrapper. Also, a little bling for the oven knobs!
Of course, I had to make a baby boy version:
Cute cute and cute!
I remade this stork card for a custom order and wanted to share!
I made it on a much smaller scale and I like how it turned out! Here is the previous post if you are interested in comparing! The only issue I had with the Glitter paper (on the previous card) was that the entire package of paper had a really strange smell that would not go away. I tried leaving the paper out on my balcony hoping it would “air out” but the smell remained. I ended up just tossing it! Live and learn!
These adorable bears just make me smile.
I found these adorable bear stickers at Michaels and will definitely be heading back to buy more! I’m currently making a series of cards with these bears and wanted to share my first bear card! More to come!
Thank heaven for little girls and little boys!
Finally, I have been able to use my molds from Mold Muse for this card! For my flower molds I cooked them in my NuWave oven for approximately 7 minutes. I let them cool for several minutes and then painted on a thin layer of gloss to give the flowers a nice shiny coat. Without the gloss the clay comes out a little dull looking.
This is the first time I have used all brown ink for a card and I really gives the card a softer touch. I used my souffle pens to add little polk a doks to the baby clothes and added all my bling with the imaginiscne. I do have to warn you that you can really burn yourself if you are not careful! I’ve had two major burns and it’s hard to explain that you had a “craft” injury lol.
Why are baby cards so adorable?
This card looks so much better in real life, the photo does not do it justice but will have to do! I had no idea that PTI also makes die cuts which makes it a lot easier than cutting out stamped images.
I love this stamp set! It’s called Hanging Out!
Here’s the first of many more baby cards to come! I can’t wait because I have so many family and friends to send baby cards too! I will need to make a few baby shower cards and I think this is the perfect set for it!
Every time I think of storks, I always remember that wonderful scene from Dumbo!
I am so glad I got this baby stamp set because there is so much to do with it!
Shake, rattle and roll…
I thought it would be great idea to make a baby card with a clear window so that I can stick a baby photo inside with a cute message!
The tricky thing about clear card stock is that you have to account for covering up the side where you attach the clear stock. But it actually turns out really cute because when you open up the card there’s the same border inside!
