Even sleepy Scotties need to take a selfie…hehe!
After a weekend filled with dog beaches, long walks, and doggie bakeries…My Scotties were super sleepy on the car ride home! lol! Caught them snoozing away on my lap! They are so sweet!
I made several thank you cards for all the wonderful friends and family in my life! As you can see, I am still hooked on the Scottie nautical theme!
I just love the little anchors and the sail boat! The Paper Smooches sentiment was perfect for these cards!
Thank you for all the love! Muah!
This is the funniest birthday card ever.
EVER! Rofl! I have the greatest friends!
I can’t believe summer is already here! Looking forward to lots of sun and water this year. The following card was inspired by this adorable outfit from the Martha Stewart pet collection:
And of course, my adorable little Scotties:
It took me forever to put this card together and I struggled to find the right alphabet set for the cute sentiment. Anyone ever have this problem?! The red striped pattern paper is actually from Martha Stewart’s Valentine’s day collection which fits perfectly with the nautical theme.
Here you can see the dimension added to the card.
I hand cut the banner for the sentiment and used my (beloved) silhouette for the boat and anchor. Then a few sprinkles of enamel dots to finish up the card! Happy Sailing to all the Scotties!
After completing the post, I couldn’t help but adding a few more finishing touches. I thought the anchor looked a little lonely so I made a little lifesaver to keep it company. Then, I added some black stitching around the card and enamel dots to the water! Adorable!
I made this card for another Scottie Mom…
There is a quote I came across that really struck a chord in my heart when I was making this card: “Until one has loved an animal, a part of one’s soul remains unawakened.” Anatole France. I can say without a doubt, my soul has been awakened. Hope you have a lovely weekend filled with puppy kisses!
Here is a little gift for a scottie mom…
I got the inspiration from a mama elephant post which featured the honey bunny stamp set with this background.
I thought it was so cute to have the stars in the background of the city scene. A perfect evening for two little scotties!
This card just makes me smile =)
Do you see the little Scottie?! Hehe! So cute.
This is the perfect valentine’s day card for me!
A thankful card to go with the thanksgiving holiday…
I felt really inspired to create a card with lots of layers, embellishments, and glitter. For this card, I was able to use Tim Holtz glitter clear rock candy – it is awesome. It has that great candy like texture but not too much bling. (I used it on the white stars).
I found these great mini label clips from We R Memory Keepers and I am in love! I added the little scottie decal on top because everything is better with a scottie! Also, I finally got my hands on the wink of stella clear glitter pen – OMG. Love love love it. The glitter pen totally lives up to the hype and I see why it has been all over the craft blogs! LOVE. You need to get it. Period.

I have been wanting to use the Scottie die cut and this idea came to me while I was working with the washi tape.
I can’t tell you how hard it was to get my two scotties to pose for this photo! I had treats in one hand and camera in the other! lol
