One Layer Card Merry and Bright!

It has been a long time since I have made a one layer card…talk about restraint!

I found this adorable Christmas tree stamp from Hero Arts. I love how you can decorate the tree in a very non-conventional way.  I’m looking forward to using it throughout the year.

I think I went a little overboard with the gold pearls.  I was planning to use a few towards the base of the tree but got a little carried away.

More cards to come!

To Stitch or Not to Stitch?

So for this card, I decided not to use any stitching and just have the happy birthday sentiment frame the card. However…

Upon further review, I felt like the card was “naked” so I had to add stitching to the sides!

Ahhh! Much better! Is anyone else obsessed with white stitching?
