This holiday season I am proud to say I made close to 95 handmade cards to share my love of crafting with family and friends:
Like whoa!!! That’s a lot now that I think about it. lol! I hope these bring a little joy and happiness…handmade happiness!
Wishing you and your loved ones a wonderful holiday season!
Sometimes, it is really the paper that makes the card:
My bff sent me this wonderful bokeh paper from Lawn Fawn and gosh we both just love it!
The bokeh paper just screams winter wonderland and it reminds me of snow! I made two versions of this card:
No such thing as too much red or reindeers right!?
Rudolph would be proud!
These Ombre Inks are here to stay! I just adore them so much!
I used the ombre inks for the thank you sentiment and background. For the banner, I turned it into a shaker banner by using a fun sprinkle of pretty pink posh sequins.
I thought it would be funny to shake the card and see the sheep bouncing around! lol!
I love the layers of vellum and cardstock. It just makes the card feel really special and that it’s made with love!
Here is a cute little postcard to send in the mail…
I love the photobomb gals!
Every now and then a stamp set comes along that just makes me squeal with happiness…yes, I said squeal!
I love this stamp set because it reminds me of the Oscars selfie that was so popular a few years ago! I used versa mark to create the air mail background and just love how it turned out. This stamp set is great to use because you get to practice all the fun copic coloring!
The smile sentiment is just to die for because the script goes with every sentiment! Hope you get a smile in the mail really soon from someone you love!
Here’s another card using the sweet stamp set from Mama Elephant…
The stitched dies are just so lovely and I cannot get enough of them! In fact, I have ordered more to come!
Again, this cute shaker card is filled with Pretty Pink Posh sequins and distress inks were used to add some color to the clouds and sun! I am waiting anxiously for the new hero arts ombre inks…Please please come soon!
Everyone needs a hero! And, in this case it is a super girl…
I love this mover and shaker die from Papertry Ink because it allows you to put any stamped image and create an interactive card.
I added some distress inks to the background to give it that fun pop of color and then gold embossed the sentiment “You are my hero” onto the fluffy white cloud.
No card is completed without some pretty pink posh sequins and gold foil stars! Be sure to tell your hero that you love them today =)
I am turning into a huge fan of Heidi Swapp’s color sprays! I got a few bottles this past weekend and I couldn’t wait to use them!
I tried the sprays with different stencils and got these results:
My favorite technique turned out to be just flicking the spray bottle onto the cardstock! And here is my card…
Hope you are having a great weekend!
I made a custom card and thought it would be so cute to put names on the little kids!
I love adding all the different layers and embellishments. Here is closer look:
I love the sweet little expressions and the sentiments from this stamp set are so versatile!
Hope this brings a smile to the heart! More cute air mail cards on its way… =)
Here is my attempt of combining different textures and layers! For the background, I used embossing paste to create the rainbow polkadot background.
I just love sprinkling glitter on the embossing paste before it dries completely. It adds a little sparkle that makes you smile when you see it!
Love the gold thread behind the cute little bunny!
I can’t believe it is already October! Time to get ready for Christmas cards!
I have been trying to make cards with the gold thread in the background. I have to admit it is hard just to let the thread go which ever way it wants to! But I am really loving the messy look:
For this card, I wanted to make it sort of masculine so I thought it would be funny to add a little mustache to the little mama elephant critters! I recommend using glue dots to keep the thread in place.
I kept the background colors simple and I think this card looks much better in real life! Hope you are having a great week!
I did not realize but I hoard and love all things related to Airmail!
I absolutely love the cellophane airmail envelope! It has the perfect combination of sheerness where you can see the little note inside! I would love to receive that envelope in the mail! For this card, I used some patterned airmail paper from Martha Stewart and layered these adorable postcards for the background. I stamped the airmail banner and border using Lawn Fawn Stamps.
The adorable little girl and sentiment are from Mama Elephant. If you cannot tell from all my latest posts – I am such a huge fan of Mama Elephant stamps! They are adorable!
It has been ages since I have used an embossing folder! Throwback time…
It may be hard to see from the photo but it looks like the same wrapping on the cutie mummy!
Also, I brought back epoxy stickers and I just adore how you can make you own designs and patterns!
Just a stroll in search for a little candy!
I love this 6×6 Halloween paper pad from American Crafts! There are so many fun and inspiring patterns!
Seeing this adorable cat makes me want to look for a cute halloween doggie stamp!
