It’s that time of year now…holiday cards are in the works but in the meantime there will be little shaker birthday cards =)
I made this card to look my nephew holding balloons and sending them off for someone’s birthday!
I love shaker cards and I can’t wait to order some more sequins from pretty pink posh!
Everyone needs a hero! And, in this case it is a super girl…
I love this mover and shaker die from Papertry Ink because it allows you to put any stamped image and create an interactive card.
I added some distress inks to the background to give it that fun pop of color and then gold embossed the sentiment “You are my hero” onto the fluffy white cloud.
No card is completed without some pretty pink posh sequins and gold foil stars! Be sure to tell your hero that you love them today =)
Once I saw this sentiment stamp I knew I had to make this card for my BFF:
Seriously, I love this stamp from Riley and Company. They have really funny and witty sentiments perfect for those silly people in your life.
For the dresses, I stamped and cut them out from patterned paper. I made the stars using texture paste and added some green glitter on top.
For some final touches, I made the banner using washi tape and added Pretty Pink Posh pink and yellow sequins. This card makes me laugh and I hope it brings a giggle to you!
I can’t believe the Christmas card season was here and now gone! So, I guess I will get back to making other fun cards for the rest of the year!
I was really excited to try these balloon stamps from Mama Elephant. I stamped them in various hero arts shadow inks and added glossy accents to the top layer.
I am currently obsessed with anything gold foil! Please please please I hope someone makes an awesome pack of patterned gold foil paper!
It has been a long time since I have made a one layer card…talk about restraint!
I found this adorable Christmas tree stamp from Hero Arts. I love how you can decorate the tree in a very non-conventional way. I’m looking forward to using it throughout the year.
I think I went a little overboard with the gold pearls. I was planning to use a few towards the base of the tree but got a little carried away.
More cards to come!
Oh my! How adorable are these snow globes…
These were very simple and easy to make! I recommend checking out this youtube video from Papertrey Ink.
I bought a few of the supplies at my local craft store (i.e. the dome ornament and snowflakes) and I used my circle dies to create the different layers inside the snow globe.
I absolutely love how these turned out and will be making these as gifts from friends and family! I have also seen these on top of mason jars!
Isn’t that so cute as milk chocolate jars? Ugh! Must must must make!
I have enough airmail stationary to last a lifetime…and then some!
So here is another airmail card!
I added vellum over calender patterned paper. (A bit hard to see in the photos but it looks really cute!) I love adding all the different layers and textures to the card.
Love love love!
I am turning into a huge fan of Heidi Swapp’s color sprays! I got a few bottles this past weekend and I couldn’t wait to use them!
I tried the sprays with different stencils and got these results:
My favorite technique turned out to be just flicking the spray bottle onto the cardstock! And here is my card…
Hope you are having a great weekend!
I made a custom card and thought it would be so cute to put names on the little kids!
I love adding all the different layers and embellishments. Here is closer look:
I love the sweet little expressions and the sentiments from this stamp set are so versatile!
Hope this brings a smile to the heart! More cute air mail cards on its way… =)
I did not realize but I hoard and love all things related to Airmail!
I absolutely love the cellophane airmail envelope! It has the perfect combination of sheerness where you can see the little note inside! I would love to receive that envelope in the mail! For this card, I used some patterned airmail paper from Martha Stewart and layered these adorable postcards for the background. I stamped the airmail banner and border using Lawn Fawn Stamps.
The adorable little girl and sentiment are from Mama Elephant. If you cannot tell from all my latest posts – I am such a huge fan of Mama Elephant stamps! They are adorable!
