At last, my last card for the Christmas season! Happy Holidays!
These penguins are so cute I plan to use them throughout the year!
I hope your holiday is Jolly, Merry and Bright! xoxo
Here is another card from my little series…
I love the addition of the sequins to the background with the gold stars.
I used a mixture of three distress inks to create the lovely background. Note: I finally gave in and converted to the Ranger Mini Ink blending tool. It does work. It is awesome. Take the plunge! lol.
It has been a long time since I have made a one layer card…talk about restraint!
I found this adorable Christmas tree stamp from Hero Arts. I love how you can decorate the tree in a very non-conventional way. I’m looking forward to using it throughout the year.
I think I went a little overboard with the gold pearls. I was planning to use a few towards the base of the tree but got a little carried away.
More cards to come!
I finally got my hands on this adorable stamp set from Lawn Fawn. It has been sold out for months! But at last…
I have made a series of Christmas cards using adorable critters and this is the first of that series! For the background, I used distress inks in a sorta non-traditional Christmas color combination.
For Mrs. Hedgehog, I used wink of stella to give a glittery coat for the holiday season.
Also, I used embossing paste to create a snowy background and I added small gold snowflakes to tie in the gold Merry Christmas sentiment! Love this time of year!
Merry and Bright! Especially, if they like to surf!
I was asked to make a custom Christmas card for a surf instructor. Using a Heidi Swapp stencil I added embossing paste and glitter for a simple background. I like how it looks like snow or bubbles.
I found these awesome surf boards from the Silhouette store. I used distressed inks and sponge daubers to color each of the boards.
For some finishing touches, I added glossy accents to the yellow surfboard and wink of stella to the green board. My favorite part was adding in the santa hats and winter gloves!
