We are in Disguise for your Birthday!

I have been trying to make cards with the gold thread in the background.  I have to admit it is hard just to let the thread go which ever way it wants to!  But I am really loving the messy look:

For this card, I wanted to make it sort of masculine so I thought it would be funny to add a little mustache to the little mama elephant critters!  I recommend using glue dots to keep the thread in place.

I kept the background colors simple and I think this card looks much better in real life!  Hope you are having a great week!

Blue Birds Smiling at Me…

I love this little bird.

I made another series of birthday cards which I like to call “How Many Fingers Are You” for all the Spring babies!  For this card, I used embossing paste and glitter to create the raised hearts and added some light blue bling and white enamel dots.

Okay, so this card really does kills me with the cuteness. I had an idea that I wanted to use those cute little hat and mustaches stamp for these adorable little chickies.

I am crazy about these chickies…

It has been a while since I have made a one layer card and this was my first time using regular sequins!

I love how the stamps look like confetti and the enamel dots give it that extra dimension!  More chickies cards on its way!
