I am always a little behind on the trends in stamping…But I am glad when I get caught up:
I finally picked up some Tim Holtz watercolor paper. It is amazing! I can’t believe what a difference it makes when using distress inks.
I love using the gold foiled paper for the background and balloon!
The worse it looks while you are adding distress inks to the watercolor paper – the better it will be when it dries! Love that.
Here is one of my last cards using the chevron stencil and embossing paste!
I love this color combination and decided to make a little shaker card with this adorable baby giraffe!
Here is a closer look at the embossing paste after I added glitter. Isn’t it just so beautiful? I love it!
Fun fact about giraffes: The age of a giraffe can be calculated from its spots. The darker the spots, the older the giraffe!
“Clap along if you feel like a room without a roof!” – Happy Happy Happy birthday!
I used adorable patterned paper from Lawn Fawn for this card. I love the heart garland!
For the balloons, I applied a few different inks using my sponge daubers. I have to admit now that I have my picture frame storage I am using a lot more of my embellishments (i.e. the white flower bling) for cards and projects. Such a great idea!
Thanks for visiting!
Wishing you and your loved ones a Happy 2014!
Looking forward to using my silhouette in 2014! I love itttttttt!

I have to say…Who knew that tags could be so adorable!
I made these tags using the patterned paper from Lawn Fawn Into the Woods, and the adorable critters from Mama Elephant Up and Away stamp set.
I have to admit, I caught the Project Life bug and have been slowing putting together my photo book! I thought putting these tags on 4×6 and 3×4 cards would be so cute…
These make me so happy! Have a great weekend =)
I saw on the Mama Elephant blog this adorable card that inspired me to buy this stamp set so I could make this:
Ack! It’s so cute! I added glossy accents on the balloons and it looks super cool! More to come.
