Happy Mother’s Day Part 1

Here is a nice and sweet Mother’s Day Card I made using very simple stamping and layering…

I love the blue and gold combo…Not a very typical color combo for Mother’s Day but I wanted to try something new!

Next Mother’s Day card on its way!

Sneak peek and a Smile!

Just thought I would share a preview of some mother’s day cards I am working on…

bowl1Every year I enjoy the process of making holiday cards…i.e. trying to figure out cute ideas and then mass producing it! The fun is in the planning and preparation I swear!  Here’s the throwback to last year’s Mother’s Day cards:

Pretty darn cute! I love those little aprons…In the meantime, here are some cute smiling faces of my little rugrats!

Aprons on for all Moms!

I decided to do a little baking for Mother’s Day this year…

Of course, it is craft baking!  I absolutely adore all things made by Lori Whitlock – she is so talented and creative! To start, I printed out all of the pieces so it would make the assembly process easier.

I used two types of patterned papers for the aprons which I thought would be great for Mother’s Day with all the fun floral patterns.

Originally, for the apron pockets I used colored card stock but it was really hard to see the Happy Mother’s Day sentiment.  After a few tries, I changed the pockets to white so the sentiment would stand out.

I attached the apron pockets to the apron and made sure to push it down very firmly so that the pocket would stay in place.

For final touches, I added the ribbon and utensils! Seriously, doesn’t the spatula just kill you with cuteness? I also love the rolling pin! *squeal*

Like all great recipes, this card was made with lots of love! I can’t wait for Mother’s Day this year.  So excited to send these to all the wonderful mom’s in my life!

Seal with a kiss!

Sending love to you on Mother’s Day.

I love love love washi tape! I found these three washi tapes on esty and am addicted! I made this Mother’s Day card because May is just around the corner.  Inside I stamped the sentiment “Happy Mother’s Day” When I first got this stamp set I could not figure out why the little envelope had “swak” and finally it came to me! lol! So cute! Can’t wait to use more washi washi tape!

Happy Mother’s Day!

I made a little something with love for Mother’s Day.

I found these wonderful picture frames in an assortment of colors! I thought red would go perfectly with the theme of love for Mother’s day.  Using my oh-so-awesome cuttlebug alphabet, I cranked out “Mom” in blue craftstock to match the words in the love scrapbooking paper.  A sweet and simple craft in celebration of a beautiful holiday 🙂
