Gold, Glitter, and Green!

I have to say all the wonderful things about this beautiful gold ink is true…

I picked up these goodies while I was out of town this week.  I was so excited that as soon as I got off the plane I ran straight home and started to craft! I thought using this ink would be perfect for the mama elephant challenge!

I felt very inspired by the blue/aqua colors from this photo. And with Easter around the corner, I needed to make a few Happy Easter cards!

I love this background stamp from impress rubber stamps.  The details are so beautiful and the gold is so rich and glittery.

In order to give the Vellum that beautiful aqua color I took my hero arts tide pool shadow ink and rubbed it into the Vellum.  I love how it turned out!

For this second card, I just added an extra layer behind to bring out more of the lovely blue/aqua colors.

For the bunny tails, I used a puffy marker to give it some dimension!

For this last card, I used a kraft card stock for a different look!

Thanks for visiting!  If you haven’t tried the gold ink – I would definitely recommend it! Happy Easter =)

Happy Anniversary Bunnies!

My friend asked me to make an anniversary card for her…

She really liked the colors I used from Owen’s birthday bash and the Worst Day Ever card:

I love the little bunny bottom hopping away on the inside of the card. Cracks me up.

For this card I used a lot of my Project Life 3×4 pocket cards.  I have taken a little break from my Project Life and didn’t want all these cards to be forgotten!

Some Bunny Loves Paste!

Here is the first of many cards using my new stencils and modeling paste:

I just love the new mama elephant stamp set! It’s so cute that it makes me smile ear to ear when I am stamping away.  For this card I used an awesome stencil by Heidi Swapp that I purchased at my local craft store:

I love how the modeling paste creates the raised hearts.  I added a little sprinkle of enamel dots to tie in all the colors in the card.

Adorable!
